About Us

Hi! We are DuWayne and Cara Lee, campus missionaries with Chi Alpha in Tulsa, OK. We work on campuses across the Tulsa area, with a particular focus on the University of Tulsa and Tulsa Community College. We, with our sweet son Tobias in tow, lead Bible studies, run outreaches on campus, disciple students one-on-one, and host events alongside the incredible staff team at Tulsa Chi Alpha. God has done incredible things in our lives, delivering us here to care for students and share the gospel on campus. We are overjoyed to invite you to partner with us in the work of raising up disciples who raise up disciples, on campus and around the world!

Our Goals

As campus missionaries, we work to build a community among students, sharing the heart of Christ through fellowship and friendships that last beyond the campus. We meet with students one-on-one, discipling them and inviting them to a deeper relationship with God. We each host a weekly discussion-based Bible study, giving students the opportunity to ask questions and hear from the Lord within a community of believers. From these Bible studies and discipleship relationships, we are able to invite students who feel called to leadership into a Portable Leadership Resource cohort, which trains and equips them to disciple others, write and lead Bible studies, and continue the lifelong experience of walking in step with Jesus.

Our Promise To You

We are so deeply blessed by those that the Lord enables to join our support team! We believe that the Father Himself supplies our every need, and He has shown us time and time again that the greatest financial and spiritual support comes from partnership with fellow believers who have a desire to sow into the Kingdom of God.

In response to the Lord’s call, we commit to keeping our eyes on Jesus as we strive to reach the campus, giving ourselves fully to the work of the Lord with the knowledge that our labor is not in vain and the harvest is plentiful (1 Corinthians 15:58 & Matthew 9:37). We think also of you, praying for our team weekly and believing that through your giving, God is able to not only supply our needs, but to increase your capacity as well, enriching you in every way so that you can continue serving the Lord with your generosity! (2 Corinthians 9:10-11)

We write a monthly newsletter, which can be shared via email or post, for our support team. We also communicate with monthly supporters on a Facebook group, sharing pictures and updates throughout each semester.

Alongside Paul, we ask of our fellow believers, “Pray also for [us], that whenever [we] speak, words may be given [us] so that [we] will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which [we are ambassadors] in chains. Pray that [we] may declare it fearlessly, as [we] should.” (Ephesians 6:19-20)
